Georgios was born Kavala, Greece. He holds a BA from the University of Macedonia, an MA in from the University of Hong Kong, and an LL.M. from Leiden University. Georgios has worked for the Special Court for Sierra Leone and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Jessica Gauthier-Trowsse, University of Moncton

Je m’appelle Jessica Gauthier-Trowsse, j’ai 23 ans, et je suis présentement étudiante à l’Université de Moncton où j’obtiendrai mon Juris Doctor en avril prochain. Avant d’étudier la common law, j’ai d’abord complétée ma Licence en Droit civil à l’Université d’Ottawa et, lors de ma deuxième année universitaire, j’ai eu la chance de participer à un échange étudiant en Australie. Cette expérience unique m’a permis d’élargir mes horizons et de me familiariser quelque peu avec un système juridique étranger. Après l’Australie, je me suis dirigée vers l’Asie du sud-est où j’ai passé deux mois incroyables et riches en apprentissage de toutes sortes. Aussi, lors de ma troisième année à Ottawa, j’ai travaillé comme assistante de recherche à la Chaire de recherche du Canada sur la diversité juridique et les peuples autochtones. Cette expérience a été des plus enrichissantes. Puis, l’an dernier, j’ai suivi la formation académique de l’École du Barreau du Québec, à Ottawa. Au final, je crois que c’est la combinaison de toutes ces expériences qui m’ont motivée à participer au projet Pro Bono et à choisir ce projet en particulier. Je suis une personne curieuse, dynamique et ouverte sur le monde et j’ose espérer que mon bagage d’expérience, mêlé à celui de tous les autres étudiants, fera de ce projet une grande réussite.

Thomas Glenn has spent the last fifteen years in the world of music. After earning a doctorate in music performance, he apprenticed with the San Francisco Opera and has since travelled around the world working as an operatic soloist with companies such as the Metropolitan Opera, English National Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Netherlands Opera, Atlanta Symphony, the China National Symphony and many others. I was born in Vancouver and raised in Victoria, British Columbia. I had a short foray out of the country teaching English in China before returning to the University of Victoria for my undergrad. I’m a second year law student from Laval University and a Concordia university alumnus with a bachelor’s in political science and a graduate diploma in business administration.
